DirDiff 2.x is a Directory compare program for OS/2 and eCS and compares all files in two sub-directorys or whole directory trees.
It can be used for many file management activities and is a must have tool for software developers.
This new version 2.x replaces the old DirDiff version 1.x
and eliminates limitations the old version had because of the used list control.
We developed a fully new List-Control for displaying the search results which is
able to display any number of rows. In addition we improved the memory management
so that the version 2.x uses only 1/10th of the memory the old version used.
Also a main feature of the new version is, that the search result can be viewed
in all kinds of sort orders.
Direct from the result list you can call
PMdiff to compare the
content of 2 different files or you can call - via context menu -
different actions for the files in the result list.
Also a good idea is to use DirDiff 2.x togeter with
SmartLaunch (www.subsys.de).
Insert SLAUNCH.EXE as 'user exec' and you can open any file from the
search result with SmartLaunch.
